Identifying Fraudulent Documents
October 2010
Half-day program in Adelaide, Perth, Melbourne and Sydney
Have you ever wondered if what you are looking at is a legitimate overseas qualification?
This session will give you valuable skills to help you identify fraudulent documents. It is designed to be practical and relevant by looking at documents that could easily be presented to you in everyday practice. It will not be built around theoretical concepts. The techniques presented will help avoid costly and embarrassing mistakes that could arise from admitting unqualified candidates.
The seminar will focus on
- Tips and hints when looking at overseas education documents
- Common mistakes made in fraudulent documents
- Sophisticated levels of fraud as well as low-level simple fraud
- Verification methods
- Degree mills (an essential but lesser known aspect of this topic)
- Sample documents to be used throughout
This seminar promises to be informative, practical and relevant and will make you acutely aware of potentially fraudulent documents.
Price
The cost for each participant is $295 including GST. This includes workshop attendance, a comprehensive manual which can be used as a future reference tool, and morning tea.
